Tiger Woods Injury Set Back

Tiger Woods Injury Set Back

Tiger Woods has had a long and successful professional career in golf and has won many championships. He is considered one of the best golfers in the world. Tiger won his last tournament in 2013. Later, during practice rounds, he badly injured his lower back. Due to this, Wood has failed to participate since the injury. He has not made any comment regarding his health status or his planned return to competitive golf on social media.

Wood’s back problem was so severe that the doctors recommended surgery. He was unable to participate in major tournaments and, therefore, decided to follow the doctor’s recommendations. He underwent the surgical procedure on March 31, 2014. The doctors have recommended another surgery due to the first surgery failing to fully correct his back problem. Wood’s second surgery occurred on September 16, 2015.

Wood stated that he found it extremely difficult to accept this injury problem. It is very disappointing and discouraging to find that he cannot compete the way he wants to or how he has competed in the past. Wood tried to participate in many of the games and finals, but his back problem did not allow him to do so. So he withdrew his name.

Due to the back injury, Woods has faced many problems in his professional career and it may be that Woods is still suffering from the same kind of problems that put his career on hold. He has been warned that he may need more time to fully recover.
