Christina Kim was only 11 when she began playing golf. She is now 32 years old, a professional golfer, and is considered one of the best women golfers at present. She is a US national who is currently based in Orlando, Florida. Kim is presently an essential player on the LPGA Tour and also a part of the Ladies European Tour. In 2001, Kim was challenged with eight Futures Tour events. She grabbed three cuts and a tied for second once. When she was 18 years old, she joined the 2002 Futures Tour because of financial needs. In this event, she missed one cut among18 starts along with 12 finishes and was included in the top ten. In August 2002, she attended and won her first event as a professional golfer. It was the Hewlett Packard Garden State Futures Summer Classic where LPGA Tour player Lorena Ochoa also played.
Kim's LPGA Tour victories include the Longs Drugs Challenge which she won in 2014, the Mitchell Company Tournament of Champions in 2005, and the Lorena Ochoa Invitational Presented by Banamex held in 2014. She also earned three achievements from The Solheim Cup in 2005, 2009 and 2011.
